90-Day Treatment Program
Where Structure, Sobriety, and Sisterhood Take Root
At The Pearl, recovery is rushed. Our 90-day program is intentionally designed to help women anchor into sobriety through immersive 12-Step work, clinical excellence, and the kind of structured, supportive environment most have never had. These three months allow time to stabilize, participate fully, and begin living recovery from the inside out.

Why 90 Days Matters
Ninety days isn’t arbitrary. It’s the threshold where real change begins.
- It gives the body and brain time to reset
- It provides space to unpack the why behind substance use
- It allows for step work to be practiced
- It helps women build daily habits that reduce the risk of relapse
- It creates the rhythm and relationships that sustain long-term recovery
For many, 30 days simply isn’t enough. At The Pearl, we’ve seen how 90 days creates the foundation women need to thrive while staying sober.
The Structure of Recovery: Month by Month
Month 1: Stabilization + Belonging
Women arrive physically and emotionally depleted. This first phase focuses on safety, rest, and stabilization. If detox is needed, it happens under 24/7 care. Daily routines begin to form. Women attend their first 12-Step meetings in Austin, connect with peers, meet their clinical team, and begin gentle therapeutic work.
Month 2: Immersion + Insight
With some stability comes the capacity to go deeper. In this phase, women actively engage in individual therapy, trauma-informed group work, and daily step-based practices. Steps 1–5 are explored with support from sponsors and clinicians. Therapies like EMDR and DBT help process what comes up during inventory work. Women begin to recognize patterns, reframe beliefs, and build trust in themselves, in others, and in the process.
Month 3: Integration + Practice
This is where recovery becomes real life. Women continue their step work moving into amends planning and maintenance tools while practicing new behaviors. They lead groups, strengthen emotional regulation skills, develop aftercare plans, and begin thinking about the lives they want to lead after The Pearl. Structure, connection, and purpose start to take hold.
12-Step Immersion at The Pearl
The 12 Steps are embedded into the fabric of our program. Every woman attends regular meetings, finds a sponsor, works the steps alongside peers, and explores what recovery means for her personally.
Each step is reinforced with evidence-based therapy to make the process safer, more meaningful, and sustainable:
- EMDR to support trauma that arises during inventory or amends
- DBT to manage distress during emotional growth
- CBT to challenge thinking patterns that keep women stuck
- Somatic therapies to bring the body into balance
- Mindfulness to build clarity and presence
- Motivational Interviewing to help women stay engaged and open
We don’t rush the steps. We help women live them daily, honestly, and with support.
What Makes The Pearl Different
Integrated Healing
At The Pearl, clinical therapy and 12-Step recovery are deeply intertwined. Women learn how to live the steps, supported by trauma-responsive therapy that helps process what each step uncovers. EMDR, DBT, CBT, and somatic therapies work in concert with step work to help women stay emotionally grounded while doing the hard work of healing.
Real Structure That Restores Rhythm
Daily schedules at The Pearl bring back a sense of rhythm, purpose, and forward movement. From morning meditations and meetings to group therapy and evening reflections, women build habits that re-establish trust in themselves and their ability to show up for life. And for women whose lives have been marked by chaos, it’s often the first time things feel steady.
A Trauma-Informed Foundation
Every woman at The Pearl has lived through something hard. That’s why everything we do, from therapy to recreation, is rooted in trauma awareness. Staff are trained to respond with care and clarity, allowing women to move at a safe, supported pace. Emotional safety is non-negotiable here.
Connection That Transforms
Women recover in community. Through shared step work, peer-led groups, or unguarded conversations over coffee, the bonds formed at The Pearl become an essential part of the recovery process. Women learn to trust again, to laugh again, and to see themselves through the eyes of others who’ve walked a similar path.
The Time It Takes to Change
Lasting recovery doesn’t happen in 30 days. Our 90-day program gives women the space to stabilize, explore, confront, and grow. It allows enough time for step work to move from head to heart so that recovery tools to become reflexes, and for change to take hold in body, mind, and spirit.
12 Steps as a Way of Living
By the time women leave The Pearl, they understand the steps as a way of living and they embody them. They’ve practiced honesty, accountability, and self-awareness. They’ve begun making amends and learning how to show up in their lives with humility and hope. Integrated into therapy, peer relationships, and daily routines, 12-Step recovery becomes a part of who they are.
A Life You Never Thought Possible
The Pearl’s 90-day program is more than a treatment plan. It’s a reset. It’s a space where women stop surviving and start becoming. With time, structure, step work, and care, recovery becomes part of who they are. Contact us today to learn how your 90 days at The Pearl can change everything.
